The Energy Healing Modality I Use and Why (ART)

The energy healing modality I use for a lot of the healing I do is called ART (Accelerated Release Technique), something I learned from my trainer, Renu Arora.

ART works by using a pendulum to communicate directly with your subconscious mind. This allows us to quickly identify and release the emotional blocks, trauma patterns, and stored stress that keep you stuck — so you can move into deeper clarity, peace, and emotional well-being.

It sounds unusual, but it works.

I came across this through my own healing journey.

To be honest, I wasn’t familiar with energy healing at all. The idea of subtle energies, pendulums, and subconscious guidance sounded abstract, even a bit “out there.” But the place I was in at the time was vulnerable, exhausted, and desperate for something that actually worked.

I was dealing with deep emotional struggles. I had tried so many routes with only partial results — mainstream therapy, CBT, somatic work — and while each of them helped in their own way, I still felt like my wounds weren’t healing at the core. I was still being triggered by old traumatic events. The same painful patterns kept showing up no matter how hard I tried to change them.

Still subtle people-pleasing.

Still small urges of neediness.

Still partial codependency.

Still all the emotional distress that came with them.

I had made progress, but I knew I wasn’t at the finish line. Something was missing.

That’s what led me to explore more unconventional approaches to trauma and emotional pattern healing. I’d heard of energy healing before — reiki, qi gong, aromatherapy — but none of them were modalities that actually worked directly with emotional and subconscious patterns.

Then I stumbled across Renu’s work.

Her approach was completely different: an energy-based modality that worked with trauma patterns and emotional blocks at the root. At that point, I was open enough — and honestly desperate enough — to give it a try.

That first session changed everything.

My trauma was cleared in a single session. Not reduced, not softened — completely cleared. I couldn’t believe it. For the first time, I felt a sense of lightness and freedom that I hadn’t experienced in years. And as I continued working with her, my long-standing patterns began to shift in ways I had been trying to achieve for years. Old habits, emotional reactions, and limiting behaviours slowly loosened their hold, and I started noticing changes in how I related to myself and others — almost effortlessly.

The results were so profound that I knew instantly:
I want to become a practitioner. I want to do this.

That experience inspired me to train in ART so I could help others who were struggling the same way I had been, especially those dealing with emotional and mental stress.

Fast forward a few months, and here I am — a certified ART practitioner, using this modality alongside inner child healing and other tools to help clients connect with their subconscious, release what no longer serves them, and finally experience the emotional freedom they’ve been looking for.

Are you struggling with patterns or trauma?

For anyone who has felt stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, this modality offers a gentle but powerful way to reconnect with your inner self. I once doubted it myself, but now I’ve seen firsthand how transformative it can be.

If you want to experience this for yourself, book a session with me today. I’d love to guide you on your healing journey.
